My name is Sheryl, and I’m a 24-year-old writer based in Singapore.

I mostly scribble about films, but really any kind of media that catches my fancy (which gives this blog a rather haphazard appearance, I know). I review things, but definitely try to be as personal as I can with them. So much of the arts is about appreciating something as closely as possible for me, and that’s what I hope to achieve with this space. I love talking about characters most of all, but filmmaking in general and the art of cinema are things I am also interested in.

The blog name is adapted from Clueless‘ Cherilyn “Cher” Horowitz, combining the shared pronunciation of our nicknames. The site icon is a cap from Take Shelter (2011); header from One & Two (2015).
